A picturesque fishing village, Agia Kiriaki is only 6 Km away from Trikeri ,if you follow the asphalt road .For those who love nature and trekking , a cobblestone pavement (1,5 Km) which starts from the Central Square in Trikeri joins the two villages . The route is unwearying and the view over the Pagasitikos is magnificent . |

Arriving at the harbor of Agia Kiriaki a real fleet of trawlers ,ketches ,fishing boats and other smaller vessels unfolds in front of the visitor's eyes , attesting the close relation of Trikeri people to the sea . In accordance to proportions , it is one of the biggest fishing areas of Greece. |

Smal white houses are built amphitheatrically in the inlet of Agia Kiriaki ... and by the sea the ouzo selling shops welcome the visitors and invite them to drink ouzo while the gourmets can always taste the marvellous spaghetti with lobster as well as a lot of local specialities and sea-food delicacies . |

A little further lies the boat -yard with the fishing boats and yachts that gaze into the sea wanting to perambulate in it again ...and deep into the fishing village ,where the coomb ends, lost among the olive trees lies the church of Agia Kiriaki. In a place like this , with such a great nautical history , it would be unnatural if there wasn't a maritime museum to house the splendour of the Maritime Museum which is now in the stage of completion. A joyful festival takes place for the sake of " Agia Kiriaki " on the eve of her name day, on the night of 6 July, under the sounds of the violin and folk songs . |

Agia Kiriaki is the sea, the simplicity , the relaxed weekend.
Although only a tiny bullet on the map , it is well - known to everyone. |
