KOTTES

A natural cove with a few houses and lace like beaches , the settlement of Kottes lies 5,5km ahead of Trikeri. It is a traditional small fishing village that charms visitors with its simplicity ,during the summer months.

The air smells saltiness ,boats float in the horizon ,nets lay on the quay , and a little further on the penninsula a fisherman with his trousers legs' folded upwards is "curling" the day's booty... fress octopus !

A paradise for the lovers of amateur fishing. Get your fishing rod and spend tranquil moments by the sea ,and if ,in the end ...it does not "bite" ,it doesn't matter ,as you will find perfectly fresh fish in the fish taverns of the area.

The only day the quiet village misses its tranquility is the 28th June. A day of celebration. People flock to Kottes , from Trikeri , Agia Kiriaki and Palaio Trikeri , to honour the memory of the Apostoles , Petros and Pavlos , in the homonym church. .
